I love Juggalos. They are hilarious. In the way a train hitting the side of the empire state building is.

Re: Video Games
Hey juys.
I am considering getting a copy of Team Fortress 2. Thanks to the new Poker Night at the Inventory games coming out, I've been looking up on it, and it looks kinda fun. I am wondering if someone who owns the game could tell me if it's fun, or even worth buying. I also want to know if I should buy it from Steam or buy the comes-wiv-a-box version of the game from, say, Amazon.
One of the things I'm thinking of is the fact that, when I play games, it's usually me and my brother. Sometimes our friends or parents will join in, but most of the games we play are two-players. Will this game, with its emphasis on teams, even be fun as a two-player?

Re: Video Games
yes get tf2 and hit me up some time so we can thrash a** together uzi. also it is fun two player but very rarely will a two on two game stay two on two long, unless its pre arranged and limit the players to four. THAT SAID it is quite a bit more fun with a large team and especially if you can find a group of fun people who respect you. if you can manage to do that without going to such holes of strangeness like the weeabootique. also be prepared to meet quite a few douches that will hate your guts and insult you for other reason than you are not them but thats OK because you can bother them right back and work up some semblance of a rivalry. if only a hour long rivalry and luckily the game has a whole system to keep track of your rivalry (providing you one of you can kill the other a handful of times without being interrupted by the other) and recently added items allow you to challenge them to a one on one duel.
buy it, its quite cheap and fun to play with or without your mates. also single player is a thing now and the AI they made is quite challenging, albeit you can only play on less than half of the levels.

steam obviously.
instant delivery plus easier communication and multiplayer, unless steam is necessitous even on disk.

So, anyone here can recommend me some Wii games?
I'm for sure getting Brawl, GoldenEye, and Black Ops. Umm, any other suggestions?

Re: Video Games
From what I've looked up, the only things Black Ops Wii is missing from its HD counterparts is the Dead Ops arcade game, split-screen multiplayer, and it's only got 1 map for zombies.
But Treyarch has confirmed that it will get the rest of the maps via DLC. Besides, FPS are better on the Wii, the Wiimote is far more accurate than the dual-analog control scheme of the PS3 and 360.
And I should mention I'm into puzzle, platform, RPG, FPS, and simulation games.

Then might I suggest Sam and Max. Available for Wii and PC. Look around for our thread over it.
Edit: Oh! and also mac
I would also suggest Jazz Jackrabbit 2. It's a retro platform game, avaible as a free download for PC.
That's all I've got right now. Any systems besides a Wii?

Yeah-it is very widely accepted that the Wii versions of Sam & Max suck. A lot. While they are pretty fun, Wii is not, I repeat, NOT the way to go. If you're looking for a graphic adventure game for the Wii, I personally enjoyed Spy Fox: Dry Cereal immensely.
As for Wii games I recommend, LEGO Rock Band is most excellent if you have the controllers for it. And, should you get Super Smash Bros. Brawl (DO IT) and find that the Subspace Emissary on that isn't hard enough, you'll probably enjoy New Super Mario Bros. Wii. But I prolly wouldn't recommend that to first-time players-it makes a grown man cry.
If you're looking for an easier, less challenging game, the Toy Story 3 video game is a heck of a lot more fun that one would expect from a licensed video game. And it also has ground-pounds so, y'know, you can PRETEND it's like Mario, am I right?

Oh, and as far as first person shooters go, in my opinion, the original is still the best. (Those are for PC.)

Re: Video Games
Definitely get Kirby's Epic Yarn. That game is fifty kinds of awesome.
And both Mario Galaxies should be pretty obvious.
And as far as third party efforts go: Little King's Story. Do not let the title fool you. It's like Pikmin, but better.

Re: Video Games
Besides the above, you should also look into getting:
- Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door- it's a GameCube game, so be sure to get a GameCube remote, and you can only save your progress with a GameCube Memory card. You can find both of these on eBay. But only get official remotes (they're purple), 'cause third-party controllers break easily. If you don't know how to use either of those things, just look it up on YouTube.
- Mario Kart Wii
- WarioWare: Smooth Moves
- The SBCG4AP series

Oh, yes. SBCG4AP's Wii version was actually really good. Probably 'cause the graphics are a lot less...graphic than Sam & Max's.

Re: Video Games
So, yesterday was my first experience going to a video game store. I mean, I had been to stores that sold video games before, but this was different. It was a capital Video capital Game capital Store. And I hope I could go again.
Video Game Stores have names, but the names don't matter too much (unless you have two major ones, like here in KC, in which case you have to choose one of the warring factions). I believe this one was called Vintage Stock, though the sign was half burnt out, so it may have been called Vinty Gargle, Vintce Armstrong, or even Vint Pooey.
When I went inside, the first thing I saw were all the latest, popular hits standing out in the front on this tiny little cabinet. While my first instinct was to go there and look at those, I noticed that ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE were going there, and instead maneuvering to the back of the store. There, I saw a sight that made we reconsider my status as a true Geek, and sob softly into my Team Mario T-shirt.*
For there I saw walls, towering high above my pathetic wastrel head, covered in games.
I saw racks and racks ofred hot wax games. Long forgetten games, but still loved. One of the first things I saw was a copy of a game I had been looking for for nearly as long as I can remember. AND IT WAS ON THE WII. I didn't even know they MADE it for the Wii-that game came out before I was born!
And then there were the classics. Old Sega tapes (I think I even saw a copy of Toejam and Earl.) Old NES tapes. Even Atari games!
And I heard that, at another one of their locations, you can actually buy the old CONSOLES for all
of these games. I may have to check that out, but no matter what, I will definitely be returning there soon.
Now if only I had some money...
*=Yes I do have a Team Mario T-shirt that is a parody of the Team Edward/Jacob crap you see and yes it is awesome and no I will not post a picture.

My local game store don't have any classics (it's a GameStop, what do you expect?), but I love it because we've been going there for years, which means we know the employees. Therefore, they give us the display posters after they're taken down.
I got a Mario Bros. Anniversary poster hanging up in my room now!
