yeah that whole trilogy owns. Pretty much every other movie about time travel sucks. I enjoyed Primer I guess but it doesn't really hold a candle to BTTF.

Back to the Future is the only movie to get time travel right, in my opinion. Even though the space-time continuum is a lot more sensitive (A WHOLE lot more sensitive) than what they portrayed it in the movies, they were still amazingly awesome. And this was 1985. Why have movies gotten worse since then and not better? Music too?

that's opinion really. although I am a firm advocate of old sh**, (I am sitting next to a geed deem Apple II from 1977 and listing to 5th Dimension,) I would have to say good movies are still made and they are still making good music. Inception kicked a**. Scott Pilgrim owns. Beck is still around and putting out some good songs. jazz is basically timeless. Yeah we've got a whole host of good stuff in the Cinema and Music biz plural. 1985 saw the release of some terribad stuff, too. (I'm eyin' you, Yor)

addendum to previous post: yor the hunter from the future was the worst fantasy film of all time but it had awesome theme music and in one scene the main character hanglided on a giant bat so I GUESS it is redeemable.

I mean seriously listen to this sh** it is gold.
