Sam & Max is cool and all, but my favorite point and click game will always be 78641. You should check it out it's free and made by the guys who did my favorite RPG of all time (Charles Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden.)

Re: Video Games
You're thinking of Season 3, also known as The Devil's Playhouse. So no, no hats for Uzi.Naked Hugh Jackman wrote:Funny you should say that because if you preordered Sam & Max Season 2 off of Steam it unlocks Sam's revolver, Max's pistol, and a hat that looks like Max in TF2.
I missed out but whatever.

So how far in are you, Uzi? Have you gotten to the halfway point of Ice Station Santa yet (you'll know when you do)?

Re: Video Games
First of all, I know all about halfway points. I mean, every Telltale game ever has them.
Second of all, I'm trying to find the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I spent too much time trying to figure out how to get into Santa's room before I just went outside and used the elf tears. I thought I had to, like, perfectly position the bomber next to the cannon and use it to launch cannonballs at the door. Spent a good 30 minutes on that crap.

Hey did anyone know there are two Doctor Who adventure games that came out a few months ago? I never even knew! I've wanted games like this for a while now. So yeah bought them. It was a steal at 4.95 for both.

Thank god I'm not the only one that did that. I had to turn on hints for the freakin' second puzzle of the game! Hoover Dam that red herring cannon mothflunker...Uzi-Bazooka wrote:First of all, I know all about halfway points. I mean, every Telltale game ever has them.

I heard about them. But it's Matt Smith, so I could care less.
(Though to be honest I actually don't mind Smith it's Amy Pond that really gets on my nerves. When I originally came up with the "stupid snot who whines a lot," that's who I was thinking of.)
I always have the hints on, but I had to turn them on to "Overly High" mode until Max said, "Let's go outside!"The Wheelchair wrote:

Why do they even HAVE a Ridiculously High Hint Mode? This is why.
That's the same reason I got Poker Night at the Inventory (same price, no less.) But I heard that those suck too. Also Amy Pond.Rimmer wrote:I blow my nose with 4.95. It was as good as free.

Ugh! This is a perfect example of what I've been talking about as far as the third season of S&M goes.
I had to spend thirty dollars (plus about 7 dollars shipping & handling) to get Tales of Monkey Island. Now they're giving it away for $4.95. NOT EVEN REMOTELY FAIR.

Re: Video Games
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I mentioned that before. You can get it if you want; I still hold that it's not as enjoyable if you haven't been a fan for a long time.
The reason is thus: think about how long we've been waiting for a new Homestar toon. Now think about how great it will be when a new one gets made.
Now imagine that, rather than waiting a mere 6 months, you had been waiting for NINE YEARS. And then, when the new cartoon (or, in this case, game) came out, it was perfect. All the best characters were back (Murray!), all of the inside jokes, and it was all incredibly well done.
THAT, my friend, is Monkey Island Fandom in a nutshell.

Re: Video Games
If Sam and Max was anything like the Strong Bad games, I'm not getting them. Maybe. But seriously though, those SBCG4AP things were extremely confusing. It's basically Zelda or Star Fox Adventures on steroids and a lot shorter, what with the cryptic crap and all.
